Daniel Carbajal, Alberta EUB, President of the Calgary .NET User Group
Daniel is a senior solutions architect with over 19 years experience developing business applications. In the last 10 years he has developed large n-tier enterprise applications using VB/COM+, BEA Weblogic J2EE, JSP, ASP.NET, Windows clients and .NET distributed technologies.
Involved early with .NET since the 1.0 beta 1 release, he has been presenting lectures in .NET technologies since November 2001 at Universities, Institutes, Microsoft Events, and User Groups. Daniel founded the Calgary .NET User Group and he’s the current president. He has received five Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) Awards since 2002 and holds MCP, MCAD, MCSD.Net, and MCT certifications. He has a Bachelor degree in Electronics Engineering and a Master Degree in Computer Science.
Daniel is currently focusing on WCF/SOA and Enterprise Application Frameworks, and he's working for Alberta EUB, in Calgary, Canada, as a Corporate Solutions Architect. You can visit his weblog at www.DanielCarbajal.Net

Fred Gravel, City of Lethbridge, President of the Lethbridge .Net User Group
Fred started building applications on a Tandy CoCo III in the early 80’s after teaching himself basic programming skills and then continued to develop using Assembler, C, C++ and VB on a part-time basis through the years until the Y2K problem raised its ugly head in 1997. He then formalized his education with a Business Systems Analyst Degree through the CDI College of Business and Technology.
In May of 1998, Fred was brought in under contract for the City of Lethbridge to work on their Y2K problem and was hired full time in 2000 where he’s still currently employed as a Corporate Systems Analyst / Senior .Net Developer.
In mid 2005, Fred founded the Lethbridge Dot Net User Group where he currently serves as the Group Leader.

Drew, President of the Calgary IT Pro User Group
Drew is an experienced IT consultant with over 28 years of experience in the industry. He runs his own IT support and consulting company – Computer Issues. He is also the president of the Calgary IT Pro user group.

Manoj Khanna, Dextrus Prosoft, President of the Calgary Open Source Group
Manoj Khanna is an author, entrepreneur and an open source software supporter. Manoj is the founder of Dextrus Prosoft, an open source technology and services company working towards bringing usable and cost-effective open source technologies to small to mid-sized companies. Manoj founded Calgary Open Source Group in July 2007, for supporting Open Source Software Technology and culture in Calgary, and bring in open source debates/talks/presentations/network events from various members of the open source community located worldwide. Manoj is also an Executive Editor for Open Source Series for Happy About Publications. He's an alumni of Carnegie Mellon University.

Matei spends his time developing the next killer application for Symantec. In his free time he enjoys lending a hand with the Calgary .Net User Group web sites and spending time with his wonderful family.
